  • Nahla Issa, PhD
    Nahla holds a MSc degree in microbiology (Lebanese American University) and a PhD degree in molecular medicine (Laval University). Her research focused on metabolic related disorders and some of her scientific work is published in peer reviewed journals. Nahla currently works as a consultant in the pharmaceutical sector on a variety of research and health related projects.
  • Ayah Karra-Aly, BA, MMASc
    Ayah is a Lebanese-Canadian global health professional that completed her Bachelors degree in Biological Sciences at Wayne State University in the USA. She then completed her Masters of Management of Applied Sciences, with a specialization in Global Health Systems from the University of Western Ontario’s Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry. Currently, she is completing an internship with a public health consultancy firm based in Toronto, Canada.
  • Jade Khalife, MD, MPH, MSc.
    Jade has a background in medicine, health policy and management, and epidemiology. He has been involved in activities on NCDs since 17 years, and in health systems since 12 years. His interests and involvements include hospital and primary healthcare performance, healthcare reform, tobacco control, healthcare evaluation and strategic planning. He has been involved in various health initiatives primarily in Lebanon, with ministries, health-focused NGOs and international agencies. www.linkedin.com/in/jadekhalife
  • Pascale Salameh PharmD, MPH, PhD.
    Pascale is currently a full Professor of Epidemiology at the Lebanese University, at the Faculties of Pharmacy, Medicine, Public Heath, and Doctoral School of Sciences & Technologies. Expert in research direction with a diploma of Ability to Direct Research (HDR);long experience in research designing, data collection, management and advanced statistical analysis. She has more than 360 publications in peer-reviewed journals, several book chapters and hundreds of oral presentations and scientific posters to her credits, in the fields of medical epidemiology, clinical pharmacy, academic education and public health.
  • Michele Kosremelli Asmar, MHA, PhD
    Michele Kosremelli Asmar is Associate Professor at Saint Joseph University of Beirut where she has been working since 1994. She is also the Director of the Higher Institute of Public Health (ISSP) since 2016. Dr Asmar holds a Ph.D. in Management (health field) from Paris Dauphine University and a Master’s degree in Health Administration from the University of Montreal, Canada, as well as a postgraduate degree in Institutional Management-Health Care from the University of Concordia, Canada. She has lectured and consulted on health systems and reforms in Lebanon, France and Canada, and co-directs PhD theses abroad. She is the author of several articles and book chapters as well as a member of scientific organizations and committees.
  • Alia Dani, MD, MPH
    Alia holds a medical degree from the American University of Beirut, and a master’s degree in Public Health from King’s College London. Her thesis focused on primary healthcare in Lebanon particularly children’s development. Alia is currently a Post-Doc Research Fellow at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center’s Heart Institute in Ohio, USA.
  • MohammadAli Jardaly, MD
    MohammadAli is a Family Medicine physician based in Beirut, Lebanon. He graduated with a degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor and interned at the Center of Healthcare Engineering and Patient Safety before attending Lebanese American University School of Medicine. He is interested in the intersection of biotechnology, global health and social medicine. His research interests include financial wellness, point-of-care ultrasound and gender-based violence
